Hallelujah. The Holy Father finally released SUMMORUM PONTIFICUM . I have prayed daily for the return of the Tridentine Rite. Lex Orendi Lex Credendi. I know that I am not alone.
The Restoration of the Most Holy Roman Catholic Church has begun. Many things will happen. I think the SSPX will see the end of their legal struggles. I do believe that Rome will settle with them, repeal the "excommunications" and grant them status as an order within the Church. I think many of their parishioners will leave for the SSPV. I think that some of the folks, in being somewhat separated from the mainstream of the Catholic Church are not going to want to rejoin.
I think that some folks who have been traveling long distances will petition their local dioceses for the Traditional Rite. I think that there will be a call for folks to Catechize whole parishes on the faith, the rubrics and the music. I think there will also be a call for artisans to recreate Communion Rails and Saint Statues, etc. I think many people will fall in love with the Traditional Rite. I foresee reinvigoration of the orders and of vocations in general.
I think this is also what His Holiness is counting on as well.
